EXCITING NEWS FROM YORKSHIRE CHOICE HOMES!

We are thrilled to announce that Yorkshire Choice Homes has received planning approval to build 191 much-needed homes in Askern, Doncaster. The new development, named “Millside Lakes” is sited on the former Askern Sawmills adjacent to the scenic Askern Lakes. This project promises to bring sustainable, high-quality housing to the area, meeting the diverse needs of the community.

Discussing the approval, Yorkshire Choice Homes Managing Director, Jason Begg, commented, "We are eager and excited to commence development at Millside Lakes. Construction will start as soon as possible, with homes expected to be released later this year. This project represents a significant investment in the future of Askern, providing residents with beautiful new homes in a desirable and scenic location. I would like to extend my gratitude to Doncaster Council for their assistance in efficiently securing approval for this project"

Millside Lakes will feature a mix of 2, 3, and 4-bedroom properties, including both semi- detached and detached homes. Big news from Yorkshire Choice Homes!

We're delighted to announce we've become members of the Home Builders Federation (HBF)!

HBF is a respected organization representing home builders in England and Wales. This membership aligns perfectly with our goal of continuous improvement.

Through HBF, we'll gain access to valuable industry insights and resources, allowing us to keep building exceptional homes Yorkshire families love. But that's not all!

HBF membership will also provide us with crucial information on customer satisfaction within the housebuilding industry. This will allow us to gain a deeper understanding of your needs and preferences, so we can continue to exceed expectations and build homes you'll truly love.

We're also excited to support HBF's efforts to increase housing availability across the UK. Together, we can make a difference!

Following our latest open day, we're delighted to announce that we reserved our first Nostell home! This leaves four left at Gladstone Court. This house type is breathtaking, each of the Nostell homes come with an open-plan family room/kitchen/dining space that creates a warm centre of the home, perfect for entertaining friends, spending time with family and connecting with the outdoors via two French-doors onto the garden.

We can't wait to see who our new buyer's next neighbours to confirm will be, we're hopefully helping a little community come together in Wyke.

The team really came together this Easter, putting their hand in their pocket and donating over 100+ Easter Eggs to children in the local area.

At the last minute, our Senior Land Manager Jess Kiely had the idea to put some smiles on the faces of the local kids and gathered the team to share her idea.

In a heartwarming turn of events, we immediately excelled our own expectations and quickly had a mountain of chocolate ready to donate. Now the hard bit... we needed help from local community support groups to help distribute the chocolate eggs.

Kids Aware, a disability support organisation in Ossett helping families care for disabled & autistic children, was the first to help us in our mission. They took half the pile to donate to families who had reached out to them.

Bag Fairies who support families in need, usually with pre-loved clothing and items of furniture, was the next to step up and help.

Millennium Support also assisted in donating Easter eggs to children and families via the local food bank.

Finally Soup4em, gave out the remaining Easter eggs to children attending their soup kitchen.

Thank you to everyone involved in our last-minute chocolate mission, and the charities helping us donate to the kids in need. We can't wait to do it next year too!

We've had phenomenal interest in the Hepworth house type on our Gladstone Court development since it was announced, and we've now only got one left!
